The eduction that is need for a musical career is really depending on the collage you going to. Different collages will have different requirements. Getting a music education is really depending on what degree is getting.  A 4-year bachelor's degree in music eduction have great coursework in musical theory, composition, production and conducting. If music eduction is a career for people they would learn to play various instruments and, if desired, take vocal training courses. A bachelor's degree program in music may include Advanced musical composition, Classical music training, Physics of music, Applied vocal training and Music literature.
